Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to uphold compliance and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA certification preferred.
Strong technical skills in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and proficiency in Excel.
Proven experience in small or medium-sized businesses with a hands-on approach to tasks.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local accounting regulations.
