The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. General Responsibilities: Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations Provide management with timely and relevant financial information for decision-making Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies Prepare and review monthly journal entries to accurately reflect business transactions Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process Manage the construction billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to clients Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development Oversite and participate in all general accounting functionsRequirements Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years related accounting experience, preferably in construction CPA and or previous public accounting experience a plus Experience in staff leadership and development Must have strong Microsoft Excel knowledge Previous ERP systems experience and/or ERP implementations/upgrades Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
