Supply Chain Coordinator

This is a unique opportunity to grow and gain hands-on experience across all aspects within a supply chain!In this entry-level position, you will work closely with our Demand Planner to execute, through data driven decisions, purchasing needs for the company. Your primary focus will be book buying to support the Wonderbook product, but you will also gain exposure to other categories such as packaging, office supplies, warehouse supplies, and other on-demand sourcing & procurement needs.This position does require working on-site, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.If you’re ready to learn, grow, and join a mission-driven organization making an impact in the literacy space, we’d love to meet you!Duties and Responsibilities Meet with new and current vendors/suppliers to establish ongoing, mutually beneficial relations.Collaborate with Demand Planner on all purchasing requirementsIssue purchase orders to vendors, suppliers, and pubsReceive packing lists, record and correct items shorted/missing, damaged, or incorrectly shippedAssist with sourcing, including obtaining pricing and samples for new productsPurchasing of all production and facility supplies
