Actalent is looking for a Controls Technician/Controls Engineer that will be providing plant support for a client in Solon OH. This person will be modifying, troubleshooting, and programming Allen Bradley control systems onsite at customer. They will also being doing some HMI development and using RSLogix 5000 and Control Logix. Skills & Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
3+ years of experience with either Plant Controls, Controls Engineering, or Controls Technician roles
Significant, recent Allen Bradley experience with RS Logix 5000
Some exposure to HMI development
STRONG troubleshooting and programming capabilities within Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000
Control Logix, ControlLogix
Network controls
Ability to use MS Teams
Ability to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, and walk around the customer facility for 12 hour shifts
Demonstrate proper hygiene, with this facility being FDA regulated
PLUS:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
Ability to program Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000 from scratch
Systems integration
Food industry experience
P&ID control loop tuning
