Description We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Sidney, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, deploying, and decommissioning end-user devices and servers. You will be expected to respond to internal client requests for technical assistance in a professional and courteous manner and troubleshoot, problem solve, and coordinate warranty work for broken equipment with vendors. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Maintain, deploy, and decommission end user devices and servers Perform remote and onsite remediation through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Respond to internal client requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, email, or text in a professional and courteous manner Research issues to identify and implement appropriate solutions to technical issues Troubleshoot, problem solve, and coordinate warranty work for broken equipment with vendors Prepare equipment for internal client onboarding and offboarding Follow up with users to complete the resolution and ensure client satisfaction Provide training to end users on installed products Assist co-workers seeking resolution to technical issues and on assigned special projects as needed Assist with equipment purchasing and receiving, inventory, asset tracking, and recycling as neededSkills: Proficiency in Cisco Technologies Experience with Active Directory Experience with Deployments Requirements Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in Information Technology. Strong knowledge and practical experience with Cisco Technologies. Proficiency in managing and maintaining Active Directory. Demonstrable experience in handling system deployments. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required. Relevant certification in Microsoft, Cisco, or similar technologies is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Must be available to work during normal business hours and provide on-call support if necessary.
