B-Shift Line Support

Description We are in the automotive industry and are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Russells Point, Ohio. In this role, you will work onsite, providing crucial support to our production line processes and clients, troubleshooting hardware issues, and implementing technology upgrades. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Maintain the overall stability of Tier I Production Critical Line Applications and equipment. Interact with plant floor users and clients to understand production line processes and customers. Provide plant floor client and end-user desktop application and network support for all Tier 1 computer systems. Support projects such as technology upgrades and implementations of Tier 1 computer systems. Review, understand, and react to various monitoring systems for Tier 1 computer systems. Take level 1 support calls on the line/office and demonstrate hardware troubleshooting for printers, scan guns, desktop PCs/laptops, handheld devices. Exhibit strong knowledge of computer applications, Windows OS, Active Directory, and LAN/Networking. Utilize Microsoft-Office and problem ticketing applications proficiently. Show ability to adapt/learn in a changing environment and demonstrate solid analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exhibit good time management and prioritization skills. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Requirements Demonstrated experience in desktop support within the automotive industry Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with workstation support and desktop hardware Ability to review and implement strategies for system upgrades Familiarity with networking concepts and active directory Willingness to travel as required for onsite support Excellent time management and prioritization skills Experience liaising with suppliers within the automotive industry Knowledge of Windows OS and computer system maintenance Degree in Computer Sciences or related field is desirable Experience with R Code is a plus Ability to make informed decisions under pressure Experience with laptop hardware and ticketing systems Ability to provide deskside support when necessary.
