Quality Inspector - Day Shift - Up To $40/HRJob DescriptionWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector. The Quality Tech will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of parts through precise measurements and inspections. This role involves working closely with machinists and other departments to ensure customer delivery dates are met and parts are up to standard.Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and review job routers and blueprints.
Verify and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments, CMMs, and gauges.
Utilize gauges such as calipers and micrometers to measure parts.
Document inspection findings and create inspection reports when required by customers.
Work closely with machinists to compare measurements.
Confirm calibration of all instruments used for inspection and maintain up-to-date calibration records.
Following appropriate safety training, operate overhead cranes and/or pallet jacks for material handling when needed.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience working in a machine shop environment.
Experience working with tight tolerances.
Experience inspecting different size parts daily.
