Our 12-18 month Quality training program, based in Perrysburg, Ohio, will prepare you for a successful and enduring career within our in quality and manufacturing areas. You will be offered challenging and diverse opportunities while being supported through a structured learning and development program, with access to a variety of on the job learning activities, networking and social activities.Upon completion of this training program, you will be required to relocate and officially start you career journey at one of O-I’s manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States.What you can expect as a Project Engineer during training:Perform a variety of tests, analyses, and studies related to the improvement of glass container quality.

Apply your problem solving skills and knowledge of various statistical tools and methods to design studies, and conduct quality and complaint analyses.

Participate in the evaluation and testing of new container designs.

Work with O-I manufacturing plants and customers to investigate glass container quality and/or manufacturing issues.

Conduct measurements and write reports to summarize and communicate quality analyses.

Learn various facets of the plant process including: batch and furnace operations, forming machines, equipment, inspection, packaging, and quality assurance systems.

Is this the right fit for you?You’ll need to have Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a relevant Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing Technology discipline.
