Job Title: Machinist - DAYSHIFTJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Machinist with extensive knowledge of CNC mills or CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up and operating their own machines, including programming using Mastercam and utilizing Fanuc controls.Responsibilities

Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal or vertical machining centers, vertical turret lathes (VTL), vertical machining centers (VMC), and boring mills.

Handle small to large part horizontal and vertical CNC milling/machining centers with part size/capacity up to 60" cube.

Operate large part CNC vertical turning lathe VTL with live tooling, accommodating up to 78" outside diameter and 18,000 lbs weight capacity.

Handle small to medium part CNC lathe with live tooling, with a 17" swing (OD).

Operate large part horizontal lathe with up to 33" swing (OD) and " between centers/length.

Perform CNC full 5-axis milling/machining with part size/capacity up to 36" cube.

Machine materials such as cast grey ductile iron, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, super alloys, and tool steels.

Set up and operate machines independently.

Program using Mastercam and operate Fanuc controls.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality checks on parts.

Essential Skills

5+ years of CNC Machining experience.

Experience with CNC mills or CNC lathes.

Ability to set up, operate, and machine own parts.

Mastercam programming experience.

Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.

Possess own tools.

The primary shift is first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Flexibility is available, allowing for work hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm if needed for childcare or other reasons. Overtime, including Saturdays, may be required.
