Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare sector, based in PARMA, Ohio. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with reviewing and processing invoices, maintaining organized records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This role also entails monitoring and managing expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.Responsibilities: Review and process invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors Maintain organized records of all transactions, invoices, and payments Communicate with facilities to resolve issues, address inquiries and assist employees with any questions Liaise with vendors and suppliers to resolve issues, address inquiries, and negotiate payment terms Monitor and manage expenses, helping to control costs, and ensure budget compliance Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies between invoices and payments Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable for management Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and tax requirements Properly e-file and store financial documents and records Identify and resolve any issues related to accounts payable processes Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in operations. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices Proven skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP Prior experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity and reliability Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
