Job DescriptionThe Line Operator has responsibility for functions occurring within the coating department. You may be assigned to duties that include leading machine set-ups and changeovers, problem-solving, coordinating PM's, and making decisions on machine adjustments. This role is 6P-6A, Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday.$19.50 per hour + $2 shift differentialPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Load raw material into the machine and unload the finished product.
Determine and control the machine cycle varying and modifying as necessary.
Perform tests and check products routinely using standard measuring devices
Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity.
Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
Adjust setup and process operations accordingly.
Perform duties to continuously improve safety,quality, and productivity.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Perform 5S duties and audits.
Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
Participate in group problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
Willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
Able to obtain Lift Truck Operator’s license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
