Job Description

The Senior Product Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all FBIN products comply with relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements. This senior role involves developing and implementing advanced compliance strategies, leading third-party product testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of product safety and quality. This position may require occasional travel for audits, testing, or regulatory meetings. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the senior subject matter expert (SME) for compliance standards across multiple product lines.Support FBIN NPD Projects, with compliance requirements, certification testing, listing to enable launch of products in a timely manner.Lead the organization in staying up to date and advising on compliance with international, federal, and local regulations (e.g., FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH).Oversee and organize third-party product testing to verify compliance with safety and performance standards.Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, test results, and certifications.Utilize PLM software to capture key compliance documentation and link to specific products.Collaborate closely with R&D, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development and lifecycle management.Provide advanced technical support and guidance to customers regarding compliance-related inquiries and issues.Lead and support internal and external audits, including supplier compliance evaluations.Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal teams on compliance standards and best practices as needed.Leads process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing optimized solutions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure best practices are followed.
