As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.This position will be responsible for overseeing and administering Crown’s co-op program,Key Duties:
Represent Crown at high school events and college career fairs to promote Crown’s co-op program.
Recruit and hire co-ops: Review and evaluate job applications and collaborate with managers to ensure proper qualifications. Interview and screen applicants, check references, make job offers, schedule physicals, and complete paperwork.
Employee relations: Administer programs designed to establish and maintain positive employee relations through the appropriate application of organizational policies and procedures.
Corporate Representative: Provide support and guidance to managers and supervisors.
Training: develop and facilitate training for co-ops to help them gain better knowledge of Crown and to assist in their future development.
Other duties: Conduct exit interviews. Assists in new hire orientations. Participate in special projects as assigned and continue to develop the co-op program.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent computer, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
