Description Robert Half is offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the manufacturing industry. Based in New Albany, Ohio, this role involves managing accounts receivable and leveraging strong excel skills to ensure accurate and timely payment collection. Responsibilities: Handle the processing of all accounts receivable transactions to ensure accurate and timely management. Apply strong Excel skills to develop and maintain reports, perform account reconciliations, and analyze data. Conduct B2B collections, ensuring professional communication and fostering positive business relationships. Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient and accurate data management. Perform accounting functions related to billing and cash activity, including check processing. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Maintain the integrity of accounts receivable (AR) records and ensure compliance with set policies and procedures. Develop and implement strategies to expedite the collection of outstanding payments. Collaborate with other teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills related to accounts receivable and relevant industry trends.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Experience in Billing Functions is necessary Familiarity with Cash Activity is required Experience in Check Processing is necessary Must have a solid understanding of the manufacturing industry Ability to analyze and interpret financial data Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
