Description We are offering an opportunity for a role based in MIDDLETOWN, Ohio, 45044-5766, United States. This role is focused on the function of a Payroll Specialist in the telecom industry. We are seeking an individual who has a solid understanding of payroll systems and strong skills in software like Paycom, Microsoft Excel, Kronos Timekeeping System, and knowledge in handling Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees and Union Payroll. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and process payroll using the Paycom and Kronos Timekeeping System Prepare and maintain payroll for 101 - 500 employees within the organization Handle payroll specific to unionized employees and manage payroll garnishments Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently Use Microsoft Excel for data management and payroll calculations Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries Collaborate with HR and accounting teams for payroll processing Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role Proficiency in using Kronos Timekeeping System Experience in handling payroll for 101 - 500 employees Familiarity with union payroll procedures Proficiency in using Paycom payroll software Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in handling payroll garnishments High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent time management skills to ensure timely processing of payroll Strong communication skills to liaise with employees and management regarding payroll matters Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
