IT TechnicianOur Middleburg Heights, OH IT Team is looking for an IT Technician to join their growing team! As an IT Technician, you will be support various hardware and software activities to ensure end users can accomplish their business tasks. Performs onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed. Where required, administer, and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products.
Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels. Installs anti-virus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. Collaborates with LAN technicians/network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment.
Assesses the need for and implement performance upgrades to PC boxes, including the installation of CPUs, I/O and NIC cards, hard disks, ribbon cables, hard drives, RAM, memory chips, CD-ROMs, and so on.
Maintains a tracking system for usage evaluation. Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software, and supplies. Prepares tests and applications for monitoring desktop performance, and then provide performance statistics and reports.
What You Bring:
Prior IT support experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of a broad range of IT equipment.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues desired.
