Description Senior Accountants are encouraged to apply for Robert Half's opening with a growing client in the Manufacturing industry. Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Complete other projects as required
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) Requirements - Proficiency in accruals
Solid understanding of month end closings
Journal entries experience
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience required
Oracle experience highly desired
Ability to work well with functional department managers
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Excellent attention to detail
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in ERP systems
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Strong organization skills
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
