OverviewJob Summary: The Revenue Cycle Management Specialist is to support the process of the company's billing function.ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:
Reportanymisconduct,suspicious orunethicalactivitiesto the Compliance
Ensureverificationof currentcoveragewith third party payersandobtainauthorizations as
Assist inthe preparationand submissionof claims for paymentfromthird party payers,andinvoices forpatientco-payments.
Support theresolutionofbilling issuessuch asclaim resubmissions toallpayers, changes incoverage,andclaims
Communicateasrequiredwithpatients about billing issues,including theresults ofapplications for financial hardshipassistanceand other responses tocustomerinquiries about
Reviewand approve refunds ofthird-partypayerand patient overpayments.
Assist in record keepingsothat all information is accurate andcomplete andmanagethe flowof up-to date information between billing departmentandother parts of the company,such astheaccountsreceivable,accountspayable andcustomer service
Ensure the implementation of processesto measure,assess,and improve the performance of the billing departmentactivities of thecompany.
Review andsuggestchangesto billingdepartment policies and procedures as needed.
Ensure ongoingcompliance with alllawsandregulations;ensurethat the department meets orexceedsaccreditation standards; and implement "best practices" in all departmental
Participate insurveysconductedby authorized inspection
Participate in the company's Performance Improvement program as requested by thePerformance Improvement
Participate incompany committees when
Participate in in-service education programsprovided by the company.
Pursuecontinuing education programs appropriateto job
Performotherduties as assigned by
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

QualificationsEducational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
One to three years of experience in Home Nursing/Services or related organization
Credential/Licensure Required:
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and agency requirements and is in good working order
Special Conditions of Employment:
Drug test
Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
