Inventory Clerk

Description We are in the process of recruiting an Inventory Clerk for our operations in the manufacturing sector, based in Massillon, Ohio. The role involves meticulous organization and management of inventory while also handling general office tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Handle and manage inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Perform annual inventory checks and updates Apply basic office skills in the execution of daily tasks Respond to inquiries and provide necessary information related to inventory Keep precise records of customer interactions and inventory updates Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions when necessary Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Requirements Applicant must have working knowledge of Annual Inventory procedures. Basic Office Skills are required for this role. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Proficiency in using inventory management software is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail is crucial for managing and maintaining inventory records. Excellent organizational skills to arrange and categorize inventory effectively. Good numerical skills are essential for accurate inventory counts. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with various departments. Strong communication skills to report inventory discrepancies and issues. Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing environment is advantageous. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and moving inventory items.
