PLC Controls Engineer IRole Summary As a PLC Controls Engineer I, you will support the commissioning and testing of automated material handling systems, including high-speed sortation, scanning, and merging applications.  This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, travel-intensive role.Key Responsibilities Assist in PLC programming, HMI development, and system commissioning Support project scope, schedule, and deliverables Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams Help develop technical documentation (QA/QC, test plans) Participate in BUAT/UAT/FAT testing and post-installation support Contribute to customer training and troubleshootingTechnical Skills (Preferred) PLC & HMI: Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, Wonderware Aveva Edge, FactoryTalk View Drives & Interfaces: VFDs, Cognex/SICK scanners, machine vision systems Software Tools: Studio 5000, RSLinx, AutoCAD Electrical, B&R Automation Studio Networking: Ethernet/IP, Profibus, WCS integration Other Tools: Ignition, SOPAS, SST Profibus Config Tool, Datalogic DataManSoft Skills Willingness to travel extensively and work in dynamic environments Strong communication and documentation skills Eagerness to learn and contribute to cross-functional teams
