Description Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that offers an invigorating work environment among a team of motivated professionals. While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The candidate will primarily focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Located in Mason, Ohio, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening.What you get to do every day

Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

Implement full-cycle A/P Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience

3 Way Matching experience required

QuickBooks experience

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

Competent with spreadsheets and databases

Detailed and have the ability work independently

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
