Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Lab Technician, you will work with chickens and assist with animal husbandry. You will be responsible for processing SPF chicken embryos, cell cultures, animal products, and microbial cultures. You will also produce antigens and reagents, prepare media, buffers, and solutions, document lab activities, pack and ship lab reagents, manage waste disposal, prepare glassware, and order supplies.Responsibilities
Assist with animal husbandry involving chickens.
Process SPF chicken embryos, cell cultures, animal products, and microbial cultures.
Produce antigens and reagents such as viruses, mycoplasma, and microbial organisms.
Prepare media, buffers, and solutions.
Maintain lab documentation.
Pack and ship lab reagents.
Dispose of waste and prepare glassware for use.
Order necessary supplies for the lab.
