Currently hiring a long term opening as a Entry Level Microbiology Lab Technician in a Food Science Laboratory. This is in an entry-level role with a ton of growth opportunities. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree and long term interest in a food science laboratory. The openings are on a first shift.Responsibilities:
Performs sample preparation and provides general support in the analysis of samples.
Performs basic and advanced sample preparation and may also perform basic sample analyses.
Coordinates the priority organization and flow of samples and/or materials.
Gains full knowledge with respect to performing analytical procedures and related quality control techniques.
Employs proper laboratory techniques to minimize risk of mislabeling, sample mix-up, and cross-contamination between samples and other materials.
Participates in resolving analytical and process problems. Maintains training records and relevant qualifications.
Understands analysis procedures and problem-solves issues.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or Biochemistry.
