Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Kent, Ohio. This role is vital in the financial operations of our business, primarily responsible for handling customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role is particularly suited to individuals with strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections. This is a direct hire position with standard fulltime hours, Monday-Friday. This is an in office position. This is truly an amazing opportunity to gain experience, work with an awesome team, and they offer tons of growth!Responsibilities: Accurately process and manage customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis Handle customer inquiries related to accounts receivable and provide timely resolutions Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action in case of discrepancies Manage cash collections and ensure timely posting of cash receipts Perform regular audits on sales orders to ensure billing accuracy Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to rectify any issues related to customer accounts Implement effective strategies to accelerate the cash collection process Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.They are looking for someone who is proficient in MS Excel, has strong AR experience, and has strong communication skills.
