Description In this position, you will be in charge of preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, and preparing audits, as well as managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external Requirements - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Able to manage time well
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
ERP system experience
Knowledge of manufacturing
Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
Demonstrated knowledge of Intercompany Accounting
Deep understanding of Public Accounting
Adeptness in consolidations
Fixed assets experience
Solid understanding of SAP
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
