Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionCandidates will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of large mixing machines for the tire industry. This role involves utilizing hand and power tools to assemble machinery, working off of blueprints to ensure that the product meets customer specifications, and using an overhead crane to move large materials for assembly. Additionally, candidates will assist in painting material prior to assembling the machines. This position is within a Union environment.Responsibilities

Essential Skills
Experience in machine building.
Proficiency with overhead cranes.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ownership of tools up to an inch.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Job shop background.
Experience with assembly, mechanical work, power tools, hand tools, blueprint reading and interpretation.
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
