Takkt FoodService is looking for someone with technical expertise in Foodservice equipment to begin in a new role leading a team of customer service reps and being the key point of contact for our technicians in the field. This role is crucial to the initiatives of the company and to support the growth we're experiencing with our Private Label Equipment. The Private Label Equipment Service & Parts Manager is a new role that will ensure our customers receive best in class service on our equipment. This role will also be heavily involved during the new item introduction process, parts purchasing inventory levels and occasionally field questions from our internal sales team. This is a hands-on position which will work from the returns department and be heavily involved in the evaluation of returned equipment. The Service and Parts Manager will help to drive continuous product improvement from technical product analysis. They will also generate revenue through overseeing the testing and approval for resale of returned equipment. The role will report to the Sr. Director of Private Label. It is a salaried position Monday-Friday and on-site at the Takkt warehouse located in Harrison, OH.What you will do:Technical Support

Key point of contact for our National Service Network provider

Be the technical expert on our Private Label Refrigeration, Gas and Electric Equipment

Connect with technicians in the field to troubleshoot and provide necessary information to fix issues for customers

Consistently monitor open tickets to ensure issues are being addressed in a timely manner

Go to person when our customer support reps are unable to answer based on knowledge level or information available

Review, approve and maintain all schematics, diagrams and parts breakdowns provided to service network

Maintain internal troubleshooting guides for our sales team and internal customer support team

Involved in new item setup and testing to ensure quality

Own the parts strategy for all new launches and current product lines

Financial Tracking and Trend Reporting

Utilizing dashboards, accurately track and report service costs upstream to be factored in to gross margins

Set, maintain and enforce DNE's in the field to ensure repairs are financially responsible vs. replacing the equipment

Own defective rate reporting shared with Sr. Director to catch trends, proactively address issues, and receive credit from manufacturers.

Provide financial metric-based expertise on decisions to offer replacement warranty vs. Parts & Labor warranties

Parts ManagementSet suggested customer sell prices and maintain Technician price lis
