Description Robert Half Talent Solutions is working on a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing organization near Fremont as they look to add an experience Purchasing professional to the team. As the successful candidate, you will play an integral role in the overall operations of the facility as you: Conduct product research and compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and vendors Source materials, goods, and products by negotiating the best and most cost-effective deals Perform inventory inspections and reorder supplies and stock as necessary Establish professional relationships with vendors and suppliers while negotiating product pricing Update and maintain records of all orders, payments, and received stock Oversee all incoming products and assign each product to the correct job/stock locations Enter order details such as vendors, quantities, and prices into Microsoft Dynamics GP Manage the receiving of daily products and placement of these products in the correct job or stock racks Utilize your knowledge of industrial and mechanical componentsInterested in this direct hire opportunity?
