Accounting Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to become a part of our team in Fremont, Ohio. This role involves managing various accounting tasks such as handling accounts payable, account reconciliation, and other general accounting tasks. The successful candidate will work on site and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.Responsibilities: Handling accounts payable duties including invoice processing and check cutting. Taking care of bank account monitoring and conducting bank reconciliation as needed. Providing assistance in general accounting work as per the company's requirements. Assisting in managing customer service within the team and fostering a spirit of teamwork. Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications. Maintaining accurate customer credit records for future reference. Utilizing software like Banner, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Demonstrating strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data entry and other related tasks. Working on accounts receivable tasks, including billing and debt collections. Helping with redundancy issues and ensuring smooth financial operations. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Ability to manage Billing procedures effectively Proficient in Data Entry tasks Experience in Invoice Processing is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Knowledge of Oracle software is necessary Experience with QuickBooks is required Familiarity with SAP software is a plus Proficiency in Banner software is beneficial.
