Certified Lead Water Operator

Position Purpose: Consistently leads an assigned team to operate water treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment in a water treatment facility to purify water to meet permit requirements and operational requirements.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Veolia is seeking a qualified Ohio Class III Water Operator to join our team at the City of Springboro's water facilities. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will oversee all operations, compliance, and reporting for our comprehensive water infrastructure, including a 7-MGD anthracite multi-media filtration ground treatment plant, elevated water towers, wells, and water booster stations.Our state-of-the-art Water Treatment Plant, completed in September 1999, features advanced iron and manganese removal technology with anthracite and sand filters utilizing an air-assisted backwash system.
