Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Finance Manager in Fairfield, Ohio. This role involves a blend of accounting and finance duties, primarily focusing on the financial planning and analysis for our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, from managing month-end close duties to providing expert level data analysis and insights for business leaders.Responsibilities: Oversee the transition in the FP& A group and manage the month-end close duties Perform expert level data mining and advanced manipulation of data in Excel Translate financial data into actionable insights for business leaders Handle transactional work during month-end close Utilize Excel for various functions including VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables Maintain a balance between accounting and finance duties Use various systems including MS Great Plains, NetSuite, and Oracle Prepare adjusting journal entries and financial statements Conduct budget management, forecasting, and various financial analysis Perform bank account reconciliation and manage budget processes.Requirements Proven experience in a Finance Manager role or similar position Proficient in Auditing and Budget Processes Proficient in Month End Close and Adjusting Journal Entries Ability to prepare Journal Entries and Journal Entry Preparation Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis Strong Financial Analysis skills and Budget Management experience Experience in Budgeting and Budgeting - Forecasting Ability to perform Bank Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations Proficiency in MS Great Plains Accounting and NetSuite Strong knowledge of Excel Formulas Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure High level of integrity and professional ethics.
