Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to be a part of our team in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry based in Enon Nt, Ohio. The Staff Accountant will be tasked with the responsibility of investigating discrepancies in daily cash reports and conducting manual calculations. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive research on discrepancies in daily cash reports Undertake manual calculations as part of transitioning to a new system Make corrections or obtain approvals for discrepancies identified Manage and update customer credit records efficiently Process customer credit applications with accuracy Utilize accounting software systems and ERP for efficient operations Employ ADP - Financial Services and CL Programming in daily tasks Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Implement auditing procedures as part of the role Use Microsoft Excel for data management and trend analysis.For immediate consideration, please contact Robert Half Talent Solutions at 937-224-0600.Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of Staff Accountant. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is expected. Knowledge of Cl Programming is a prerequisite for this role. Candidate should have experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. The ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively is necessary. Applicant must be skilled in managing Accounts Payable (AP). Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Experience in Auditing is essential for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
