Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in ENON NT, Ohio, in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciliation and analysis, and working with various ERP systems. Responsibilities: Working with various ERP systems, including Oracle and SAP, and assisting with the conversion process Handling accounting reconciliation and analysis tasks, with a focus on accuracy and detail Reviewing spreadsheets, checking variances, and performing data entry tasks Utilizing your skills in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookup, Pivot, and knowledge of formulas Working with General Ledger and performing journal entries Performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate record keeping Diving into new systems and learning their functionalities Assisting with month-end closeout tasks Utilizing your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.For immediate consideration, please contact Robert Half Talent Solutions at 937-224-0600Requirements Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with the General Ledger Capable of processing Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite software Proficiency in Oracle software Experience with QuickBooks software Familiarity with SAP software Degree in Accounting or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team Strong attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Experience in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry would be a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
