We are seeking an experienced Machinist/Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will produce and maintain precision tooling to support our production operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented craftsman with expertise in manual and CNC machining, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

· Manufacture, assemble, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, molds, and gauges according to blueprints, CAD models, or verbal instructions.

· Operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision equipment.

· Perform precision measurement using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify conformance to specifications.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical documents.

· Maintain and sharpen tooling to ensure optimal production performance and part quality.

· Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related production issues.

· Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production staff to design improvements and implement tooling changes.

· Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance, repairs, and modifications.

· Follow all safety protocols, keeping work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in Tool & Die Making preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years experience as a toolmaker or in a related precision machining role.

Strong knowledge of machining processes, metallurgy, and tooling materials.

Skilled in the use of manual and CNC machine tools.

Ability to work from complex blueprints and CAD models with minimal supervision.

Proficient in precision measurement and inspection techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Prolonged standing, bending, and working with hand tools and machinery.

Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment

Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and metalworking processes.

May require occasional overtime to meet production deadlines.
