Job DescriptionAn aerospace company in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Test Equipment Build Specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for fabricating and assembling test equipment, including cable harnesses, breakout boxes, control boxes, and 19 rack assemblies, based on drawings provided by the Test Engineering team. This role requires hands-on work in the build area, with close collaboration with engineers to ensure accurate builds and timely troubleshooting. Responsibilities include: Work closely with Test Engineers to fabricate and assemble test equipment based on provided drawings. Troubleshoot/Rework Test Equipment: Diagnose and repair test equipment, including cable harnesses and enclosures Inspect Test Equipment: Conduct inspections of test equipment before delivery to the end-use customer Perform hands-on building tasks, ensuring material management around the workstation Collaborate with design engineers upon completion of builds for final inspection and defect handlingThis role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly, who enjoys hands-on work and collaborating closely with engineering teams.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
