HR Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Dayton, Ohio. As an HR Specialist, you'll be involved in various HR tasks, such as employee relations, event coordination, recruitment, attendance reporting, and generating reports. Responsibilities: Handle level 1 employee relations issues, including basic payroll questions and helping with supply orders Manage job postings for the production area Oversee EHS reports and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel Maintain personnel files, timekeeping system, and shared drive Handle filing tasks, primarily paper-based Locate and digitize old job descriptions as required Generate communications for operational aspects Plan and execute employee engagement events Manage attendance reporting Review resumes and schedule interviews as part of the recruitment process.For immediate consideration, call 937.224.8326.Requirements Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry is a plus Proficiency in auditing HR processes and procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Knowledgeable in HR compliance and regulatory standards. Experience in scheduling and coordinating interviews. Strong ability to manage and improve employee relations. Demonstrated success in driving recruiting efforts to attract top talent. Proficiency in generating comprehensive HR reports.
