Description We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team based in DAYTON, Ohio. The role focuses on the execution of full-cycle recruiting, the management of employee relations, and the provision of support in various HR functions within our non-profit organization. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Collaborate with managers to understand specific job requirements, functions, and roles Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues Assist with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration and worker's compensation claims Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures Conduct and analyze exit interviews, and recommend changes as needed Maintain personnel records in compliance with HR regulations Oversee the performance review process Develop job descriptions based on the needs of the organization Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process.For immediate consideration, call Alison TODAY at 937.224.8326.Requirements Candidate must have experience in HR (Human Resources) roles, specifically as an HR Generalist Experience conducting Background Checks is required Knowledge and experience in Onboarding new employees is necessary Proficiency in Personnel File Maintenance is expected The ability to conduct Performance Reviews is a requirement Experience in developing Job Descriptions is necessary Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed Candidates must have the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Proficiency in using HR software and computer applications is expected Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field is preferred Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude is a must Strong ethics and reliability is necessaryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
