MSD is looking for a Controls Foreman to join our team!The Controls Foreman performs a wide range of HVAC Controls activities for commercial and industrial clients. The Controls Foreman oversees installation projects including design, layout, and performance verifications to assigned projects. The Controls Foreman supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.Key Job Duties:

Lead installation teams

Installs automated environmental controls systems to include conduit, wiring, and other components in accordance with design specifications and plans

Commissions newly installed building automation systems

Ensure client satisfaction through all phases of the installation process

Plan and organize projects with Controls Operations Manager to support organizational goals and priorities

Coordinate with client's key personnel and other on-site contractors as necessary

Lead and manage controls installation teams

Install all components of the Building Automation System Control in a timely, efficient manner

Attend and participate in relevant meetings pertaining to projected work projects

Provide training to assigned personnel as needed

Conduct quality control inspections on personal and corporate controls projects as assigned

Perform special or complicated installations with minimal assistance

Update/maintain technical proficiency through training classes, bulletins, seminars, etc.

Maintain accurate documentation relating to the installation/removal/ replacement including but not limited to: time, labor, and material reports and maintenance logs

Train, develop, and mentor newer team members on building automation systems.

Comply with organizational, local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines

Obtain/maintain required professional licensures/certifications

Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe practices and get every employee home safely

Candidate Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

2+ years' experience in leading installation teams

5+ years' experience in HVAC controls systems

Niagara Certification preferred

Ability to comprehend and apply verbal and/or written communications, including technical manuals and drawings

Ability to communicate in written and spoken English

Unencumbered US driver's license

US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
