We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist I, (Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm), at our facility in Springboro, OH. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for AP duties and vendor file maintenance. The ideal employee will be able to multi-task and prioritize as appropriate to meet the necessary goals of the position. Experience in sales and use tax, exempt certificates, as well as, ACH and wire preferred. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong willingness to learn, good interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor.
Other duties include; but, not limited to:
Engaging with Purchasing Department personnel to resolve PO invoice discrepancies,
Confirming validity of credit memos,
Posting AP and PO invoices and credit notes to the ERP system,
Entering all returned checks and voided checks into the ERP system,
Updating daily all AP invoices,
Preparing weekly check run,
Maintaining flow of invoices to be processed in APSmart handling exceptions and paused items,
Maintaining AP email box.
The ideal candidate will have
AA degree in Accounting is preferred, or three or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
