We have an immediate opening for an entry level Accounting Assistant.This position is located in Conneaut, Ohio.Job Summary:As a critical member of the Finance team, the Accountanting Assistant will provide support by managing daily accounting tasks, including cash receipts, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, & general data entry & reporting.Accounting knowledge is a huge plus and can work comfortably with numbers with keen attention to detail.The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department.Duties/Responsibilities:
Daily posting of cash receipts
Inputting accounts payable invoices.
Ensuring timely payment of invoices and gathering appropriate signatures.
Maintaining an organized filing system for accounts payable invoices and cash receipts.
Assisting in gathering of documents for external audits.
General data entry & reporting to assist in Finance & Operations departments.

Education and Experience:
Successful completion of accounting classes is a huge plus.
Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
