Automotive Technician Job Description
As an Automotive Technician, you will perform a range of automotive services.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Performing basic automotive services and repairs such as oil changes, basic engine repairs, brake repair, etc.
Disassembly of larger projects.
Demonstrating excellent customer service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback on client vehicles.
Being part of a customer service driven team to deliver quality, timely service.
Maintaining strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
Maintaining a positive attitude and work ethic.
Automotive Technician Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of at least one year of experience working in a shop environment or a technical degree from a trade school or JVS.
Experience working on classic cars is a plus.
Strong work ethic; self-starter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
