Company owning apartment buildings in Columbus is seeking a motivated and high energy Service Technician to help make apartments ready for new residents, to complete work orders for current residents and to maintain the common areas and grounds of our buildings.
Candidates must be skilled in painting and carpentry as well as possess a basic knowledge in electrical and plumbing. HVAC certified definitely a plus. Excellent customer service skills is a necessity.
We work in a friendly and fast paced environment and are looking for someone who is goal oriented and truly wants to grow with the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Painting
Carpentry
Plumbing
Electrical
Cleaning
Light landscaping
Grounds
Candidates must have their own tools and reliable transportation (truck preferred). The job requires technicians to travel between properties, within a 3 mile radius.
The position offers excellent full time hours, M-F 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and alternating on-call.
Starting pay is $13 -$14 per hour, based on experience. Benefits are available after 90 days.
Criminal background and driving record screening will be conducted on all candidates. Only applicants with a clean criminal history and good driving record will be considered.
