Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM TO 4 PM with Saturdays as needed
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Join our team at the Nature Pure Feed Mill! We are seeking a temporary Sanitation Worker to help with miscellaneous tasks around the mill, primarily focusing on sanitation tasks as well as loading and unloading trucks. This position starts immediately and will last 1-2 months, 40-60 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Specific job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Performing sanitation and custodial tasks around the mill.
Assisting operators in loading and unloading trucks.
Digging out pits with product spills.
Cleaning bins.
Power washing.
Performing routine maintenance on equipment.
Providing housekeeping and general clean-up work.
Complying with all company policies.
Complying with all local, state and federal laws, and regulations.
Performing other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS - The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform this job.
Experience with sanitation and clean-up work in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders.
Ability to operate a pallet jack with 2,000 pounds of material.
High school degree, G.E.D, or equivalent experience
