Brewery Delivery Driver
Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is seeking a full-time delivery driver. Most days drivers are expected to report to work as early as 6AM depending on delivery volume. Occasional overtime, weekend shifts, and night shift hours may be required. We hope candidates appreciate the unique and challenging environment brewery work can be. Basic Job Requirements
-Valid OH driver’s license
-Willingness to learn/use forklift and other applicable equipment
-Comfortable lifting cases and kegs, weighing up to 165 lbs, in and out of the delivery van unassisted
-Moving kegs and cases up and down stairs, with the assistance of a dolly
-Working conditions include: wet, hot, cold, slippery, working near chemicals and pressurized vessels, as well as frequent: bending, stooping, lifting, twisting, pulling, sorting
-Working in tight/cramped quarters (in van, brewery, and at bars)
-Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to problem-solve
-Ability to coordinate with sales staff to ensure accurate and on-time delivery, as well as meeting special requests
-Ability to safely and professionally handle large amounts of cash and customer checks each day
-Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company at retail locations and on the road
-Dress professionally and appropriately (proper work gear, ie – boots) each day
-Comfortable reading maps, with good sense of time and adherence to a schedule
-Must have reliable transportation to work each morning to get on the road on time
-Working knowledge of WRB beer
