Part-Time Banquet Chef — Bosc and Brie Catering
Bosc and Brie Catering is hiring a talented and dependable Part-Time Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. This position will primarily involve preparing meals for college students in a cafeteria setting at the Pontifical College Josephinum, with opportunities to work high-end banquets for weddings, corporate events, and upscale catering functions.
Schedule:
Part-time hours, weekday mornings/afternoons/evenings
Additional hours available for banquet events, weddings, and corporate catering
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute high-volume meal service for students in a cafeteria environment
Assist in the preparation and execution of banquet menus for weddings and corporate events
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
Manage kitchen prep, production schedules, and food inventory
Collaborate with the catering team on event setup and execution
Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines
Requirements:
Prior experience in high-volume food production (cafeteria, institutional, or banquet service)
Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and efficiency
Experience in high-end banquet/catering preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Reliable transportation and flexible availability for event schedules
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
