Job Title: Sheet Metal TechnicianJob DescriptionSeeking journeyman sheet metal installers to join projects throughout the central Ohio area with a local mechanical contractor. These are long-term assignments and full-time jobs.Responsibilities
Installation of duct/sheet metal, VAV boxes, and setting units on rooftops
Reading blueprints
Setting curbs
Cutting metal to fit specifications
Essential Skills
4+ years of duct/sheet metal installation at commercial or industrial construction sites
OSHA 10 certification
Proficiency in reading blueprints
Experience with basic hand tools and impact drills
Ability to work with PPE including hard hat, high visibility clothing, and boots
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with rooftop units
Understanding of HVAC systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
