Prompt and accurate collection, storage and shipping of plasma bottles and samples

Maintain compliance with SOP, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and regulatory guidelines

Accountable for area operations to accommodate production levels and donor arrival patterns

Trains and provides leadership to new/existing employees

Ensures prompt and sterile collection of plasma samples

Performs all required quality controls and reports issues to Quality Assurance and Management

Remains alert for any adverse donor reactions and notifies appropriate staff

Cleans blood or plasma spills and performs proper procedure for disposition of biohazardous waste

Monitors freezer and refrigerator temperatures

Conducts daily calibration of equipment

This is What It Takes:

High school diploma or GED

Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts

Ability to lift up to thirty-five pounds

Ability to enter environment with temperature of -40C for short periods of time

Minimum 1 year experience in laboratory or warehouse environment

Licensure required by the state of employment

Team lead/Supervisor experience

Highly organized and detail oriented

Demonstrates consistency and reliability

CPR certification
