Location: Columbus, OhioPay: $65k / year Description:We are looking for a Natural Gas Designer to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Columbus office. Typical responsibilities include: Prepare computer drafted natural gas pipeline designs, as-builts, and mechanical detail drawings Reproduce historic pipeline drawings in AutoCAD Generate bill of materials Ability to work independently Print working drawings using a plotter Create estimated time requirements for projects Attend project-specific meetings to determine CAD schedules Save project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis Complete 811 design requests and coordinate responses to obtain 3rd party infrastructureAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Candidates must have a high school diploma, and zero or more years of drafting experience in the natural gas industry. Excellent technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others.
