Healthy Homes Intern
The Healthy Homes Intern will work with the Healthy Homes team to develop and maintain housing for the program, assist in the assembly of funding applications to partners and work with various city departments for the acquisition of property and completion of residential tax abatement applications.

Responsibilities
Support Project Managers and Executive Director in the assembly of funding applications by working to complete various predevelopment activities.
Updating project budgets using Microsoft Excel
Assist Executive Director with various data collection efforts on housing units impacted
Assist with applications to the Land Bank and tax abatement applications to the Department of Development
Responsible for any other ancillary duties or projects assigned by Executive Director
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in City & Regional Planning, Geography, Real Estate or Public Policy from an accredited college/university. The ideal candidate would also have some experience and knowledge of housing and real estate, but not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and GIS, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary to relate to all levels of hospital staff, vendors, contractors and the community at large
Must demonstrate a high degree of initiative, flexibility, organizational skills and creativity
Ideal candidate is professional, courteous and reliable
Demonstrates excellent communication skills by listening effectively, transmitting accurate information in a timely manner, and actively seeks feedback
Ability to prioritize work
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs (Occasionally)
