Description Oversees the planning, scheduling, assignment and monitoring of staff and resources for assigned areas of responsibility. Develops, plans and manages activity in the Infrastructure BMO. Responsible for managing Infrastructure financials and operational metrics across the Infrastructure organization (TIPS). Develops and maintains processes to ensure ongoing support. Maintains fiscal accountability and is responsible for financial budgets. Maintains a high level of technical expertise related to assigned departmental functions and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends that particularly apply to Huntington. Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the BMO team consisting of a team of financial analysts and data analysts
Elicit and analyze BMO needs and translate / document information into reporting requirements
Ability to import and build small databases for data mining
Use statistical methods to interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reporting
Use data to create models that depict trends in portfolio financials and operational effectiveness
lead a team that is able to filter and “clean” data to locate and correct problems
Identify and recommend new ways to meet the BMO operations and Infrastructure reporting
Facilitate meetings to review data findings and metrics
Develop and update documentation to support new / changes to procedures
Develop, generate, maintain and monitor reports and files
Consolidate and create monthly decks providing operational metrics and key messages
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
10 years of experience in financial and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading teams
Financial knowledge and aptitude
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products to drive data analytics, reporting and financial results
Proficient with elaborate / complex MS Excel spreadsheets (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, graphs, etc.)
Advanced experience with PowerPoint, story-telling, and visualization
Ability to schedule and negotiate with end-users to achieve desired results
Experience communicating with senior and executive management
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL, etc.)
Knowledge of statistics and experience analyzing datasets
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with strong attention to detail and accuracy
